History

Richard L Yates established Yates Electric in 1969. He has over 40 years experience in the electrical service and construction industry. Richard did service, estimating and design with J.H. MaKay and Evan's Electric before starting his own company. He had a vision of having the most reliable customer oriented electrical service in the industry.

Richard Yates retired in 2003 passing the business onto his two sons Brad and Troy.

Brad began his employment with Yates Electric in 1981 and currently holds his Master License. He has had 4 years apprenticeship training and over 25 years experience in the electrical service and construction industry. Brad is responsible for all daily electrical operations.

Troy has a BA degree in business and management. He has served in the US Army for over 13 years, was a helicopter pilot in the Gulf War and currently holds the rank of Major. Troy came to work for Yates Electric in 1996 and is responsible for all daily business operations.
